The lighter grain cork also provides a bit more cushioning compared to a typical coarse grain cork or wooden yoga block. Our yoga blocks feature an easy to grip, non-slip surface and are specially designed for supporting back bends, standing and sitting poses.
The cork yoga mat was made to suit all styles of yoga but performs particularly well for hot yoga. As the grip of the cork layer improves when wet, we highly recommend getting the yoga mat if you have a sweaty practice. The yoga mats are made of organic cork steam-pressed onto a heavy-duty support layer made of natural rubber. Cork is naturally antimicrobial and contains zero harmful chemicals.
