Our impact

You can now share the amazing benefits of copper with your best friend. Not only is the copper pet bowl aesthetically appealing with its beautiful rose gold aura but it also has very unique properties. Copper has been shown to slow aging, support immunity, improve fur, eliminate toxins, aid in maintaining lean muscle and is a strong antioxidant that helps fight off disease and boost brain power.

Copper is also antimicrobial and naturally prevents the growth of bacteria in your pet’s water. As a result, using a copper pet bowl can help avoid the biofilm that accumulates in other types of pet bowls. Biofilm is a by-product of your pet’s saliva mixing with water, and is known to contain disease causing bacteria. Copper bowls prevent biofilm from forming due to copper’s natural antimicrobial properties. Bacteria, viruses, and fungi are effectively destroyed.

Instead of scrubbing biofilm off the hard way, cleaning your pet bowl can now be as simple as running your bowl under hot water with a little bit of soap and then wiping the bowl completely clean. Your pet's water source will go from disgusting and slimy to delicious and incredibly crystal clear. Most pets are fascinated and drink heartily.

All copper water bowls are handcrafted from thick copper plated stainless steel, tested for purity and come backed by our one year warranty. Buy a copper water bowl today, to care for your pet the smarter way!

We recommend using the copper bowl only with water and not with pet food.

Although copper is an essential part of the diet of most pets, there are some situations in which ingesting copper or copper-infused water can affect your pet negatively. If your pet has been diagnosed with Copper Storage Disease, your pet should not drink from a copper bowl. There are some specific breeds that are biologically inclined to have issues with copper storage. These breeds include Bedlington Terriers, West Highland White Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Skye Terriers and Labrador Retrievers. While it is possible for cats to develop Copper Storage Disease, these cases are considered to be rare.

If you are unsure whether a copper pet bowl is right for your pet, contact your veterinarian for advice. If your pet is not a cat or dog, also consult your veterinarian about whether a copper bowl is safe for your pet.

Hand-wash regularly with warm soapy water. Do not put the bowl in the dishwasher.

The bowl can be deep cleaned every few months to remove patina from the copper and increase its effectiveness. Soak the bowl overnight in a solution of water and one lemon juice. Rinse the bowl thoroughly in the morning. Rub baking soda to neutralize the acidic solution followed by a wash with warm soapy water.
