You asked for yoga bolsters and finally our talented tailors have delivered, in the form of premium hand-stitched yoga bolsters in a versatile rectangular shape to support any practice. Also known as a yoga cushion or pillow, the yoga bolster allows you to relax into a stretch more easily, hold poses for longer and ultimately improve flexibility.
This yoga bolster consists of two covers - an inner cover and an outer cover. The inner cover is filled with 100% organic New Zealand grown buckwheat husk. The buckwheat hull filled inner bolster is then placed inside the durable, organic cotton outer cover. Cleaning the yoga bolster couldn't be easier - simply remove the filled inner bolster and machine or hand wash the outer cover.
Unlike other yoga bolsters in the market, we use 100% GOTS certified organic cotton to make both our inner and outer bolster covers. The outer cover has a neutral grey colour that will look great in any home or studio. Very nice quality bolster. Shape and size is just perfect for restorative yoga and yoga in general. I only feel that the material of the outside cover might bleed (which I don’t want as I really like it as it is) when washed but I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know. Otherwise material of outer cover is pure cotton which is amazing. I have seen pure cotton of this quality only in India. The inside filling is of correct heaviness and distributes itself evenly. I absolutely love my Valka yoga bolster. It is very comfortable and smells fresh. The husks inside have give and allows the body to sink down and relax even more. It is such a great treat to settle before bed with some restorative yoga poses. I love every purchase I have made from Valka yoga and now the bolster is my favourite.
I purchased 15 Valka Bolsters for my yoga students at my yoga venue. Every week every one of my yogis heads to get a bolster to use during the class. I have also added some extra recycled fabric or washed wool to keep them nice and plump and comfortable.

Nice firm bolster, molds to your body. Great material. Easy carry handle, comfortable. If I need it higher I add the sturdy valka blocks underneath, so you get the best of both worlds with a high and low bolster.
I recently did a 3-day silent retreat and sat on this for many hours a day and found it very comfortable. It is quite a firm bolster but it gives you just enough give for your body to melt into it. The product looks like it has been well made and I am very happy.

I bought the bolster as a meditation cushion. But soon I realised how effective it is for helping me with stretching positions too. I use it in some positions to help me relax into the stretch and it has been wonderful.

great fabric and color (grey, 100% cotton). quality construction. flexible but sturdy material. . might be made in china (worth checking). simple/clean design and great size. a bit heavy but not too heavyweight. i look forward to using in classes where a bolster is called for, but also like to stretch and sit on it.
