You asked for yoga bolsters and finally our talented tailors have delivered, in the form of premium hand-stitched yoga bolsters in a versatile rectangular shape to support any practice. Also known as a yoga cushion or pillow, the yoga bolster allows you to relax into a stretch more easily, hold poses for longer and ultimately improve flexibility.
This yoga bolster consists of two covers - an inner cover and an outer cover. The inner cover is filled with 100% organic New Zealand grown buckwheat husk. The buckwheat hull filled inner bolster is then placed inside the durable, organic cotton outer cover. Cleaning the yoga bolster couldn't be easier - simply remove the filled inner bolster and machine or hand wash the outer cover.
Unlike other yoga bolsters in the market, we use 100% GOTS certified organic cotton to make both our inner and outer bolster covers. The outer cover has a neutral grey colour that will look great in any home or studio. If you're serious about deepening your stretching and taking your practice to the next level, it's time to start using a yoga bolster.
Please note that as we use natural fabrics and dyes, the actual colour of the bolster may differ slightly from that pictured.
At Valka Yoga, our main focus is customer satisfaction. That is why we offer a 30 day customer guarantee. If your product, for some reason, has any issues, we will send you a replacement or sort out a refund. No questions asked. Please get in touch with us at namaste@valkayogashop.com if you have any questions or concerns regarding your product!

Portable Design
Each yoga bolster comes with a reinforced carry handle stitched into the seam. It's a small detail that makes a big difference—grab it to move your bolster around the studio, pack it for a retreat, or take it to class. Built to last as long as the bolster itself.
Responsibly Filled in New Zealand
Every bolster is filled to precise density by hand—not mass-produced in a factory overseas. We use locally sourced buckwheat husk that we've tested ourselves. The result is a bolster that feels as good as it looks, built to support your body for years.

Exactly what I needed for stretching and meditation 💖 Excellent quality materials and love the color too 😍 Thank you so much for the speedy delivery too, highly recommended!! ✨️
The bolster has been a hot favourite in this house! Between my husband and I it’s getting used every day- the only problem is the dog loves it as well and will snuggle up as well!
What a great product, quality was fantastic. Exceeded expectations.
The rectangular yoga bolster has opened up many additional yoga participation opportunities. It has already started to change my life!
Love your yoga bolster 🧘♀️ it has helped me with my posture for mediation so much! Thank you 😁
Very nice quality bolster. Shape and size is just perfect for restorative yoga and yoga in general. I only feel that the material of the outside cover might bleed (which I don’t want as I really like it as it is) when washed but I haven’t washed it yet so I don’t know. Otherwise material of outer cover is pure cotton which is amazing. I have seen pure cotton of this quality only in India. The inside filling is of correct heaviness and distributes itself evenly. I love my purchase. Thank you Valka yoga!
I absolutely love my Valka yoga bolster. It is very comfortable and smells fresh. The husks inside have give and allows the body to sink down and relax even more. It is such a great treat to settle before bed with some restorative yoga poses. I love every purchase I have made from Valka yoga and now the bolster is my favourite.
I purchased 15 Valka Bolsters for my yoga students at my yoga venue. Every week every one of my yogis heads to get a bolster to use during the class. I have also added some extra recycled fabric or washed wool to keep them nice and plump and comfortable.
I love mine to meditate with and stretch out my body. It has the right amount of support to relieve my sore spots it’s Seriously good, I hight recommend
Nice firm bolster, molds to your body. Great material. Easy carry handle, comfortable. If I need it higher I add the sturdy valka blocks underneath, so you get the best of both worlds with a high and low bolster.
I recently did a 3-day silent retreat and sat on this for many hours a day and found it very comfortable. It is quite a firm bolster but it gives you just enough give for your body to melt into it. The product looks like it has been well made and I am very happy.
I absolutely love everything from Valka Yoga! I honestly wouldn't shop anywhere else for yoga gear! Amazing quality, amazing service and amazing values! Thank you!
Beautiful colour. Fantastic material, and I absolutely love the buckwheat filling, making the bolster very responsive to every move. Would have liked it a bit firmer myself, but it was a present an the recipient was very happy.
Perfect 👏🙏

Lovely bolster, very good quality
Great service, great product
Love this new bolster! Perfect
I absolutely adore my yoga bolster.. I searched through many companies before going with Valka Yoga, and I’m so glad I made this decision! The bolster is beautifully made, supportive, and has such a grounding, peaceful energy to it. The fabric is natural and soft, and the weight feels just right. You can feel the quality in every detail. I highly recommend choosing this company for your bolster. I went with the slate colour and it’s beautiful.
Love it, it arrived quickly and is exactly as advertised.
Love that it is natural fabric and fill. It’s stylish (grey option sits comfortably in my room), it’s been fantastic to use.
This bolster filled with buckwheat is a super item for deep release in yin yoga. Thank You Danny from Valka.
Great quality bolster. Love the washable cover.
Love my bolster! Wonderful customer service too! Thank you!
Exceptional quality. I bought it as a gift and will be buying one soon for myself. Comfortable and attractive. Thank you.
I bought the bolster as a meditation cushion. But soon I realised how effective it is for helping me with stretching positions too. I use it in some positions to help me relax into the stretch and it has been wonderful.
An awesome addition to my home yoga set up. Solid, great height, comfortable and seems like it will last a good length of time without loosing its ‘stuffing’. Highly recommend!
I love this bolster. It was exactly what I was looking for. I recommend this product!
Love my bolster. I use it every day.
Good product but took way too long to ship and not very impressive customer service
Absolutely love this 💕
I love yoga and love good yoga equipment. Your products are natural, healthy and make my yoga even more effective
great fabric and color (grey, 100% cotton). quality construction. flexible but sturdy material. . might be made in china (worth checking). simple/clean design and great size. a bit heavy but not too heavyweight. i look forward to using in classes where a bolster is called for, but also like to stretch and sit on it.
Love my new yoga bolster, great quality and so comfortable to use. Highly recommend
I like it and they way it feels, thank you... would be nice to have replacement covers available in the future in case of fading or wear as the material is not as thick as i'd ideally like it to be for a wonderful, quality heavy bolster.
I love the design! it's solid yet pliable, and just the right size for getting those stretches in. thanks team :)
This was gifted to a friend who is enjoying it.
Love my bolster - it’s super comfy practice and I even love the noise it makes when I move it or adjust it. A lovely humble reminder that it’s made with love and care for the planet. ❤️
